Implementing Optimize

Before you can get started with Webtrends Optimize® you will need to go through the implementation process, which can be achieved through the following means:

Implementation – for web

Sample Tagging guide

This document describes how to get tagged with Webtrends Optimize. It covers our script tag, content security policies, and use of Tag Management containers

opt_data

To track user behaviour, you can either set this up in Optimize or alternatively push data to us. We have a GTM-style method, opt_data.push, where you can send events to us. This will track data for all tests, and so whilst optional is a handy method.

See guide on opt_data here

Implementation – for server-side

We have an unopinionated approach to server-side implementation, with APIs instead of SDKs.

API guide

For details of what to expect from our APIs, see this Postman Collection

How server-side testing works

This guide describes how users could implement Optimize, including what information to send to us.
